classical trained violinist
and violist, he
performed with professional symphony orchestras and
chamber groups in
various countries in Europe, Africa, and
America.
Z.Kriz graduated from
college and university
in his former
homeland Czechoslovakia. He studied violin with prof. Pokorny and Velimsky ( direct
pupil of O.Sevcik ); viola and pedagogy with prof.
He developed his own teaching methods and taught instrumental classes to students of all ages, from elementary to university level in different countries. He became instrumental in some cultural events of communities and institutions in the Slovak Republic and the western provinces of Canada.
