basic violin technique in the 1st and 3rd position. If they will be interested to play
in an ensamble, their technique would

Foundation of the basic
violin technique in the 1st
position is completed in this book.
Graphical reading of notes is changed
to the diatonic reading and students
have to follow rules of half steps
in all major and minor scales ( up to
7 sharps and 7 flats ). Students recognize
chromatic and pentatonic scales, double sharp and
double flat. –
The bow technique emphasize fingers flexibility in staccato, spiccato, portamento, .... The theory presentation of a brief music history and forms gives each student an outline knowledge of music expression, phrasing and dynamics.

This book provides application of
already learned technique in
the 1st position to the half and
3rd position with appropriate shifting
exercises. Students will learn how to
play double-stops, music ornaments and more
bowing technique. They will improve right
hand fingers and wrist movement ( with the
bow ) and left hand movement during
the vibrato. The theory section will
briefly outline famous violin makers and
violin virtuosos.
